John Doe Mug (500ml)

No names on the outside.

The 'John Doe' mug is just a good old fashioned mug with a pretty glaze that breaks over the surface.

This mug was named after my husband (Johno) and is a little reminder of the Illawarra coastline and the beautiful beaches where we live, work and play.

How long will it take for my cup to be made?

These cups are made to order so please allow up to 6 weeks for your cup to be made. 

How will it be made?

Your handmade cup will be wheel thrown using a buff or tan coloured midfire clay with a standard C-shaped handle and a few perfectly placed ripples on the outside of the mug.

Your cup will be completely unique. You can expect to see variations in the size, shape and glaze and evidence of where my hands or tools have touched your cup - this is what makes handmade and hand glazed pottery stand out in all the right ways.

What colour will it be?

The colours available will change from time to time depending on the glazes I have in stock. Please remember that the colours on your device may be slightly different to the actual mug. I always do my best to show the colours as accurately as possible.

How big will it be?

This mug will hold up to 500ml. Please remember, as each custom cup is handmade, the exact size and shape may vary - no two cups will ever be exactly the same.

How should I care for it?

Your mug will be dishwasher and microwave safe, but I strongly recommend hand washing with care.
